Unregistering Sensi from app or previous owner
If you're moving away from your Sensi thermostat, or you've moved into a home with Sensi already installed, you can easily transfer registration of the thermostat to another account.
Removing Sensi from my account
If you are moving and have access to the Sensi app, log into your account and remove it.
- Tap on the thermostat name you want to remove
- Tap the settings gear.
- Tap About Thermostat.
- Scroll down and tap on Remove thermostat.
The thermostat is no longer registered to your account.
Transferring Sensi to my account
If you connect your Sensi to Wi-Fi and you get a notification, “Thermostat already registered”, you can transfer the Sensi to your account using the Sensi Security Code.
- Tap Transfer to My Account at the bottom of the screen.
- At the screen, Enter your Security Code, type in the Sensi Security Code found on the back of the thermostat face plate.
